Race
Re: Race
I was able to do more research in what was done to mine at Chrysler. They added a single turbocharger and it has slightly different gear ratios and stiffer suspension. Still after the one race of 12.98 the next few were in the low 14's and one in the high 13's. I was not able to get 12 again.

Re: Race
no no no.. is the new electric supercharger option by Conair ....
You can actually buy two of these electric superchargers and have a twin supercharger setup, one for each side of the intake.
Only problem wiht this setup is that people will start to refer to our cars as cars for hairdressers .. And I thought I got away from that image when I sold my Miata..

After talking with Chrysler they were able to determine that this car was one of seven test cars used in 04 and 05 by Chrysler while tuning them for different things such as luxury, and performance. They said this is the car used as the Performance car by Chrysler. I don't really understand it but they say it has different parts and around 280 hp. They would not give specific details about what the parts are but they are powerful.
Re: Race
There is a compnay that makes a 3.8 conversion for the Crossfire that jumps power up to 285 and 300 horse packages. They have a package also for the 3.2 that bumps that up to about 243hp. It seems they also have been making V8 Crossfires that are putting out 426 hp and have been doing it for years now. Not saying this guy has one but if he did have either one of these models it would be pie in someones face for doubting an NA could run a 13 or a 12. Do your research folks. Needswings and TVT arent the only company's out there there's company's that have been into to Crossfires in Germany since 2004. But there expensive to say the least. The V8 by the way does about 300klm about 184 mph and just so you don't think I'm full of BS V8 = http://www.supercars.net/cars/3048.html and the V6 options http://www.worldcarfans.com/7050119....sfire-roadster the company's web site http://www.startech.de/html/crossfire1.html.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.

Re: Race
Look people I don't understand why they put it on the market or why they did this to it. I only know what they said ok! I will put pics on here if someone will tell me how. Im not trying to show off or anything I just thought y'all might like to know since this is a forum for the Crossfire. I did do a 12.98 1/4 mile but like I said after that it was in the 14's and one in the high 13's! It was one time only I havent been able to do it that fast again. It is faster than a stock Crossfire and again I don't know why Chrysler sold the car but they did!

Matter of fact, here's a link to the search:
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...earchid=759969
If I remember correctly, wasn't it around a $60,000 conversion to start with? Add the price of a Crossfire to that. Now ask yourself......does this sound like a car a 15 year old is driving?
For the record....there's been exactly ONE person on this forum who has claimed to own, and provided pictures, of a Startech Crossfire.
Re: Race
lol OC xfire... you just beat me too it. I just had to delete the top half of this post in order to not sound like a parrot...
On a different note, for any of us to believe that you ran a 12.98 1/4 we really need to see a track slip. go take a picture of it and post it. Many of us would love to see this turbo setup as well. once again take a pic and post it. just remember that internet forums are like a courtroom... without evidence, the event never happened.
