where can i find a set of headers for my car??

 

I'll try to mitigate some of the sting from the beating you are sure to endure for not using the blessed "search" function. If you have a few hours free to sift through the search function for headers - ultimately you will find that the jury is still out on them. There have been a few people here that have tried them, but from what I have read, all with minimal results, not worth the time and money for a few HP...

 

We picked up 9 RWHP with a set of headers sold by one of the MB vendors. Not worth it for the money.

I was under the impression that headers were part of the new TVT 300 kit, now you are openly saying they are not worth the money. Am I missing or misunderstanding something here???

Headers by itself probably not worth it, but as an overall package or kit and it would probably make it worth your coin.

I'm trying to find another performance part for my car. I have the TVT 250 kit and a Needswing CAI anf the bigger more manly 74mm throttle body. Looking for about 10-15 more HP, not sure what else i can add that can give me that sort of added horse power?

 

I think what TVT was trying to say is the MB vendor's price is probably not worth the gain of 9 rw-hp. Being a Mercedes Vendor they probably will charge you a Mercedes price just a wild guess but probably over $1,500. for headers probably more. If 9 horsepower is worth that to you then I'm sure he would pass on the vendors info.

I am thinking of going the same way, hwo big of a difference do the mods you have make in power and driveability (is that a word?) LOL

 

Much quicker throttle response with more beef, when open at full throttle the car takes off and switching gears is a blast now. It's worth the money for a 270+ HP beast. Where I feel it most is on the freeway, I'm cruising at 90.. I would like to get up to 300 so I have most of the 300 kit except headers and manifold.
