does anyone have a problem when driving in heavy rain? i cant seem to see that well when it is raining out hard and was wondering if anyone knows of any tricks....

 

RainX and good wipers. If you haven't replaced the factory wipers yet, it's time. There are several good ones recommended elsewhere on the forum and choice is personal preference from there.

i got rainx wipers and rainx in the washer fluid and i rubbed rainx onto the windshield lol....

Next step is glasses.....worked wonders for me. Sorry Robert, it was just too easy to take the shot....LOL.

 

wash windsheild with coke-cola this will remove ALL the grease build up you have on the glass, it works better than rainx and windex, jim

 

then wash it again with soap and water, then rainex it to repel water

I am now 66 I was told that by my grandfather when i was 14 and still do it today here are some others he shared with me. ,, Hair spray to remove ink ( from pen) from leather seats,, not newspaper ink left in seat in hot sun ,,forget that is there to stay,,also use tooth paste to remove scratches on glass, jim

i have heard that as well many many years ago. coke, not pepsi, will remove the water droplet marks on your windscreen outside of the area your wipers travel. also heard you can put raw mean in coke and it will look like it's cooking the meat. never tried either but i do remember the stories.

 

There are many myths and truths out there about coke, such as the dissolving raw meat, cleaning blood stains off highways, cleaning corrosion from bettery terminals, etc.

Some true, some false, you must try them out to know for sure (or if you are lazy, just google that $hit LOL).
