Front License Plate holder
In Colorado, a lot of people are just leaving them off even though it's the law. It's a $10 fine, apparently. I'm leaving mine off the Crossfire. We also have a BMW 850CSi, with the Euro front-end (which we couldn't bare to drill a license plate into). We've never been hassled in four years!
I heard TX just adopted the point system here for moving violations. Due to needed funds for the city budget, the police around here have really been cracking down on people. I may rethink leaving it off. The point go on your driving record and could include LARGE fines.

In CT the front license plate is also required by law. About 20% of the cars do not display them. It is rarely enforced and when it is, a written warning is issued. Cops think giving out a traffic ticket for a front plate is a cheap "pinch" and will not do it, unless provoked.
