6 month old 12K mile '07 6 spd coupe won't start
Well friends, my Red Delicious let me down today.
I started it up to run an errand. Ran about 3 miles shut it off at the store was in the store to 10 minutes and when I came out she would not turn over. I fiddled with the key, full off to start, over and over with my foot on the clutch and finally she kicked over and started.
I ran about another 1/4 mile and to another store and this time when I came out there was nothing in the world I could do to get it to start. I even tried disconnecting the battery to reset any potential security shutdown to no avail. She is spending the night in the parking lot and tomorrow she will be flat bedded to the dealer.
Any Ideas?
My Blue ox base plate is on order and I am getting ready to take her on a long RV journey.
Best regards,
John

Are you sure its not the sticky ignition key issue? In other words the key wont turn to the start position. If you try over and over again it will finally turn to the start position. It seems too new for this issue, mine started at 25K, see my post for the fix.
I would have went back with a volt meter to see what the battery condition is. Batteries do have an average life, but some can go bad in a matter of weeks after it is installed. If it is under warranty, then let them figure it out.

Guys I just read the "mystery no start" thread a few posts down and I am sure my problem is the relay control module like so many others before me. I would even bet my car will start tomorrow when it is cold. I will print out that thread and take it to my dealer and tell them to order up the part.
Best regards,
John

Any machine can experience a failure regardless of age.
I wouldn't develope any kind of negitive attitude over this incident.
Good luck with the repair.
