Transmission cap just resting on top of tube...
So I head back to the Grease Monkey because I believe I'm leaking some oil, but it ends up being the transmission gasket weep. Problem is, he breaks the MB plastic lock seal on my transmission fluid cap!!!! Now what should I do? Is it safe to drive the car with the cap 'gently' resting on the tube, or what? Will Chrysler replace it when I take it in for the weepy gasket work?

sounds like youre a little better off then me. Took my car in to the shop for various work. About 3 weeks down the road, was getting help from MikeR with my Crankshaft position sensor, and he noticed the cap was missing. I have no cap at all, and need to get one soon...
UGGGGGGGGGGGG ! That totally sucks! I guess for the time being I'll just wrap some duct tape around it to keep it in place.

Hey, Rakoom--
How did you apply the big, giant, red XF pic to your reply? Need the info so I can include a big, giant, aero blue to mine.
