Tranny stuck in park
Re: Tranny stuck in park
With a malfunction in the vehicle’s electrical system,
the selector lever could remain locked in the PARK position.
To unlock the selector lever manually, insert the end of
the multipurpose tool from the glove box (or ball point
pen) into the covered opening below the position “D” of
the shift pattern. While pushing the tool down, move the
selector lever out of the PARK position. After removal of
the tool from the opening, the cover will not close fully.
Only after moving the selector lever to the “D+” and
“D-” positions does the cover return to its closed position.
If you need a manual or other documentation.

There is a little hole at the back of the shift gate (on Console)
If your Crossfire has a strange wrench in the glove box the somewhat pointed end is for that very situation. slides in the little trap door and unlocks the shifter.
Re: Tranny stuck in park
For what it's worth, I had the same problem on my SRT6 due to the battery losing it's charge over the winter. I was hoping to slide it into neutral and push it out of storage so I could jumpstart it. It did not cooperate. I had to drag a battery booster into the storage cubicle and jump it. Another reason I prefer manual transmissions.

Did you charge the battery?

ImportLabSRT where is this switch located and do you have an idea on cost. Sounds like something for the road trip kit along with other essentials.
Thanks.

I'm a bit dim so let's have some answers.
Is the car capable of starting?
The 'Tool' does not allow the shift lever to move, yes or no?
