Picking her up tomorrow...
Ahh... Leaving around 4 am to head to NE Mississippi to get my crossfire. Tomorrow will involve about 900 miles of driving, but will be worth it in the end!

We can thank Apple Computer and Channel for making white a "hot" color again. Another plus is that white is a very durable paint color, easy to touch up, and not prone to fade over time. It is also a very safe color for night time driving in that it reflects light very well. You'll love your new baby....congrats! BTW mine is a 2004. Looking forward to seeing the pics.

Congrats and enjoy the ride back! I picked up mine 8 weeks ago and there is nothing like the feeling of driving her home for the first time!
Have a very safe and happy trip!

I remember picking mine up... first time I drove it, it was pouring down rain...hard. Got her home and parked it, was up early the next morning and out the door to drive it, been in love every since.

Congrats!!!
Congrats!!!
Ahh.... And the ride home was great!
I am heading out of town in the AM, but will put up the pics I have taken from my blackberry when i reach my hotel tomorrow night!! Im already thinking I am going to miss her while Im out of town!!!
I love the car... got a GREAT deal on her, bought it off my father, more like stole it... He bought it, fell in love with it, then decided a roadster was the way to go. So he put the coupe up for sale, and I jumped right in line to buy it!
Its an addiction... I jumped in the car today and took a drive down the coast just because I could! Left my dads house in N.E. Mississippi Saturday morning to head back to the beach, and have had 2-3 people everyday comment on my car... I am liking how this is going to be
Thanks for the welcome!

Welcome aboard.
It is hard to believe until you have a question or two just how much help is available on this form as well as some of the nicest people around.

Speaking of first drives home.
I remember when I picked mine up, I pulled into a Hardee's restaurant to get something to drink and gaze out the window at my new baby. Well, I get back into the car and I couldn't get the transmission into reverse. I've had several stick shifts before so I tried the methods the other systems used with no success. It then occurred to me that during the entire test drive, I never backed the car up. Maybe the transmission was trashed or defective, I thought?
Fortunately, a quick review of the owner's guide in the Hardee's parking lot had me in reverse in no time, but the experience did have me panic for a second....LOL
Enjoy your new ride!

GettinIt, you did the "white" thing. (sorry, I couldn't help myself
). Enjoy your car, we love ours. It gets admiring looks, and nice comments every time I drive it.

Congrats Kyle.
It is always a good feeling to buy the crossfire yourself instead of cars taht were bought for you (or handed down to you in my case) when we were younger.
You will love the car. I bought my first crossfire ('07 Base Coupe) six months before I turned 24. I love it.
Now I have my SRT and love it all the same...just at higher speeds.
I know exactly what you mean when you say you take drives just because you can. I do the exact same thing...It is relaxing and enjoyable.
Comments never end, and neither do those who hate/envy the crossfire...just get used to it and let it roll off your back.
Good luck with everything, stay safe. Have fun driving.
