Stereo?

The stereo looks nice, but I would like to have a USB port on the front to charge my Zune and it doesn't appear that this particular unit has this option. Has anyone else installed an aftermarket stereo that does not require a wiring harness and has a USB port on the front?

The MP48 also perked my interest with the plug and play feature of the wire harness.
Problem is that when I google and search for the MP48, they are not available (or at least I wasn't able to find one).
Even eBay returns a search of zero (which leads one to believe none on the used market).
So I skip the MP48, as my dream unit is a pop-up LCD screen, bluetooth for hands free calling and music streaming from my Andriod fone, Aux/MP3 and USB front jacks, and lets throw in Garmin GPS. And it's all built into a single headset.
I think Kenwood has a model and features Garmin...!!!

As I couldn't wait, I ended up getting a Pioneer DEH-P6200BT. It features Bluetooth, a USB port (ipod ready I guess), and auxiliary port. It also came with a microphone that can be mounted anywhere and sounds really good from the two people that I called so far. Also has a five band equalizer and really good "loudness" settings. I'm so happy to be rid of the stock unit!

If you don't mind having a kid at Best Buy mess around with your interior and wires, get a different brand. Or if you have the talent to do it yourself get another brand. I had neither the talent or time to figure it out and I didn't want kids from best Buy messing up my car. I always wanted to swap the radio but never did for that reason until I heard about the compatibility with Blaupunkt. I only bought the MP48 to save a few bucks plus I didn't care about the extras. I only wanted something that coupld play MP3 discs and had a front aux jack for my Ipod. I didn't care about blutooth or fancy touch screen displays.

My affinity to bluetooth stems from the Hands-Free cell fone law for my State (NY).
I have it on my other car and it's actually pretty kool.
Besides they are out of their friggin minds in NY, get caught with a cell fone to your ear while driving, it will cost a $110 dollar ticket, no excuses accepted.
A couple of these violations and you learn to love bluetooth...lol...
