Scratched Chrome Rims
I have chrome rims on my Crossfire and they are scratched on the edge or the rim (not by me but by precvious owner haha). It is already rusting from where it is scratched. Does anybody know how I can restore the rims and remove these scratches? Thanks!

I assume you are talking chrome after-market? Then I have no suggestions. I believe that once chrome plate is scratched the only way to repair is re-chrome, which "ain't cheap". If you're talking OEM rims, there is a thread somewhere on this forum on how to refinish them yourself (step by step) or you can check with a dealership -- they often contract out this type of work and it costs $100-150/rim.
Another possible solution is that they are polished aluminum (not chrome), but have a similar look. If that's the case they should be able to re-polish them. This worked by my BMW. But then again it depends on how bad the damage is.

I think they are after-market chrome rims, or at least the lip. Online it says they are Black/Machined Lip. I do believe that they chrome plated aluminum. Just the outer edge is scratched. Here is a pic:
Should I just take them in and have someone look at them? Hope that helped my explanation haha. Thanks!
