Default Benzworld refering to Crossfireforum.org...

I just came across this upon some google searches. The Benz guy suggests a poster to go check out Crossfireforum.org. Read the second post.

Performance mods for SLK 320 - Benzworld.org - Mercedes Benz Discussion Forum

I love it!

it goes both ways... ive gone to Benzworld to find info/answers/pictures; TVT has both Crossfire and MB parts; its only natural they would come here. i think its cool.

why do you act like it makes us "superior" ??

Some very nice people over there. I am over there a bit but only when I have an issue with my wife's car and they are very helpful. Good forum. As for the ads, nothing in life is free. Somebody has to pay to maintain the forum and if you spend your time and money why not be able to make some money from your efforts? I don't mind the ads, I've come to expect them.

They all seem to be very receptive to the Crossfire Community over there and most are slightly shocked of the performance of the SRT6. With the same basic modifications, the SRT6 always seems to outperform the benz version. You would think with all the extra weight of the cash we saved in our wallets, it would slow US down. LOL

I've been a member of the benz forum for sometime and have no complaints. I know life is not free, just making an observation. Take it for it's value.

i'm pretty sure if you register they go away to only top/bottom like here.

Cross referencing between here and mworld.org and benzworld.org happens quite often as most of our parts and service providers support both crossfires and Mercedes (as seems the logical route)

I know a good number of the guys on MBworld.org are somewaht active on here like SLK32crazy and jturkel. Heck some even own both MB and Crossfire like Bullseye.

I live in both worlds (Xfire & MB AWD) and I also live in the world of 4 wheel drives and pickups (AWD Chevy Express Van). Benz world is just like us. They are people who are traditionalists who would never change a thing on their cars, there is another group who like to modify their cars, there are people who lerk and others who ask for help and some who are considering buying their first MB car or trading up to a new one and there are people who love to drive fast and aggressive. Some are young, some are old, some are rich, some are average people who love their cars. Some may complain about the prices the dealers charge BUT very rarely do you hear a complaint about service, lack of parts, quality of work or knowledge to work on their cars. Does this sound like our Xfire forum.

IF YOU HAVE NEVER VISITED THE SITE. TAKE SOME TIME TO VISIT.

There are some other differences too. They have a long tradition and can buy a new one of the same model or style. Like it or not the Xfire is a one horse wonder who owes the underpinings of our cars to MB.

If you are wondering. I love to drive my Xfire but when this generation of cars are gone they are gone. Like the DeLoren and others it will pass into car history. Enjoy them while you can.
