Red face Seeking words from the (paint) wise...

I purchased my xf in the beginning of this year...at first I thought black was THEE color I wanted for this car being that I have owned (and am over, lol) both silver and red cars...BUT after a few pollen plunders and the premature on set of carpal tunnel (kidding of course) from all the waxing...I am officially obsessed with altering the color of my car. Maybe a pearlized coat...flakes...any suggestions???
btw...I am more than aware of the price to actually change the color of the car...yeah...not interested, lol...I'd sell/swap it first

(Fingers x'd)

THANKS!

The best color I've seen recently was on a new Masserati on display at the mall, it's a deep dark bluish-red ....hard to describe....absolutely stunning in person....

I have always liked flake paints. How about a black with silver, gold and green flake in it, but a bigger flake than is in the stock paint? The Machine Gray (06 and forward CRossfire color?) has a really nice green flake in it that just pops out in the right light. To be quite honest though if you ever get the chance to see Acrispy1's black Crossfire it will blow you away. I've never seen a finish so beautiful and that is courtesy of Tony's talent and Adams polishes, nothing else.

They dispaly Maserati's at your local mall? Lucky *******. All we get are Saturns, and an occasional C class benz.

I've seen 3-4 different $130K+ Masers there in the last year or so...even see some at the Nebraska Furniture Mart sometimes (by the Kansas Speedway)....

any dark color is still going to be hard to maintain. On that note I think you should wetsand the black, drop one to two coats of blue pearl on it and clear it. Trust me it will look like magic.
Hey you asked
