lease / residual value?
Has anyone here leased their Crossfire, as opposed to buying? Would you mind telling me what the lease term (length) was, and what the residual value or percent was they assigned for that term?
I'm considering leasing for a couple of personal reasons, and I'm trying to figure out whether it makes any sort of financial sense.
Thanks!
Greg

The residual on the Crossfire for my lease was .59. I payed around $15,500 upfront for the 2 year lease. I saved a few grand by paying the whole lease up front and saving on the interest. I think if I had not payed it all up front it would have been around $550 a month. The Crossfire isn't a great lease deal, but I want to be get rid of the car in 2 years to get the convertible version, which I'm hoping will be out.
O Dont Know if this will be of use to you when converted but. I have just got the prices through fot my car to be on contract hire,
In UK ptices i have opted for 24 months and 15,000 miles a year
Prices I have are inclusive of everything except insurance and fuel
and include the dreaded VAT in the UK
24 months = 639.62 36 months = 561.28
Residual is not bad and based on trade buy back
24 months = 15,400 and 36 months = 12,300
I carnt make my mind up which to go for but the figures look good
promising when service cost is based on 44.31 pr month
