Default lease buyback

Much as I would like to get a new Crossfire, because of price I may not be able too. But, if I can be patient, perhaps I can in the future. I would seriously be interested to know of anyone that has leased one for anywhere from 2 years or more that would be willing to contact me when their lease is up for me to buy it "back" at that time. I would be obviously be willing to pay above what the dealer would charge (the residual) you to buy back the car after the lease. If anyone is interested, feel free to contact me by the private messages (so we don't tie up this thread with lots of talk) and Iwould be happy to give them my email/number. Thanks

$450 per month no money down for 36 months? What is this -.5% interest rate? There is a catch to it. The residuals are not that strong. Also, the car must be at invoice or under. You also probably need a 799 beacon score which is practically impossible. Show me where this is advertised.

Sounds too good to be true. Maybe you should share this information with everyone, cause if its $0 down for $450 a month you just sold out your lot!

What I think this requires is TTL, 1st Month Payment, Doc fees etc. Probably equates to $2k-$3k down. With a selling price of invoice you might be able to get $450 a month. But with no money down you can't be at $450 a month for 36 months. Maybe my math is wrong, you can correct me. Just doesn't sound right.

How much is the tag fee no security deposit? Also most of the leather in the crossfire is fake. The doors and the center down the seats are leatherette.

Your telling me that we don't have to pay for the tax up front?

Cheers,

Ted

i'm tired of explaining this lease, it is what it is the way i said it is and at this point any more explaination must be over a land line. The reason this deal is so good is because i am not a rip off dealer. We have more crossfires on our lot then we want so we are dealing on them so call me at my buis (Reedman Corp)215/757/4961 and i will wip one up for you Thanks Bob Nieves

Bob, I see no reason to be tired (your only typing, not talking) because you never even tried to explain the specials in detail. Are you more afraid that I'm right that there is a couple thousand out of pocket to get that payment? This forum is for Crossfire enthusiasts, so if you share this information its for the good of us all.

I went ahead and calculated your figures.

I put $0 down, assuming the car is cheap $32,500, than add tax, a residual of 52%, and interest rate of 4.9% and for 36 months. Cheapest I got was around $594 a month, its no where near $450 a month.

If you are correct post it on here, that way it is a reference for us to get a great deal. But I take that I'm correct that it will require atleast $2,000, 1st payment, title, license & fees. Total out of pocket is at least several thousands, its not really $0 down. But if I'm wrong let us all know that I'm wrong. I'm just trying to figure out how you got those low numbers without money out of pocket. I'm not trying to buy a crossfire, I already have one. Its nowhere near your payments, so I'm trying to figure out how you guys are doing it. The information would be for potential buyers anyhow. Not disclosing the terms here, just shows that there is something shady about it.

EVS, I just noticed you have the wrong year on your beautiful Crossfire picture. The first model year for the Crossfire is the 2004 model year.

I just leased a Graphite/ 5spd/Cedar interior on Superbowl Sunday, the terms were as follows:

$33,627.00 Gross Capitalized Cost
Regist. fees $281.00
Doc Prep $45.00
CA Tire Fee $5.00
D/O Tax ? $159.24
First Month Payment $579.59
Capitalized Cost Reduction $1930.17
Total Down $3000.00
39 months
Residual Value $20380.35

My credit score on Beacon was 671, not good enough for an "A+" credit rating, but at least I got my" Dream Car" and at the end of the lease I will definately buy it!

I'm starting to think I got an awesome deal on my lease.

I gave them $400.00 down (first payment)
I pay $399.00 a month
13K miles
39 months
Buyout at 20 even.
And, of course, free lifetime oil changes.

Perhaps I should go kiss my salesman!

13k miles per year?

What was the total purchase price? Whats the interest rate? Man almost sounds impossible. Your credit score must be over 730 or something. I don't see how it works. Maybe you can explain your terms in detail. I should release mine with your dealer or something.

This is straight from my paperwork:

$32328.00 Gross Capitalized Cost
Title fee $16.50
Tax $83.65
Tag transfer Fee $1.00
First Month Payment $399.00
Total Down $400.00
39 months
Buyout Value $20000.00

And, yes, 13K miles.

My dealer paid tax and title so I only gave them the first payment. I negotiated the 13K miles - I wanted an extra thousand buffer - It's a gorgeous car and I wanted to drive it without a huge restriction. I negotiated the maintenance package. What else is there to say, I told them what I wanted and they met my expectations. Picked her up a couple days before Thanksgiving and can't get enough of her.

And, for the record, the fact that EVS is surprised at this deal and all the math that goes behind it does not mean he knows JACK. I was just as shocked when I heard the terms myself. His curiosity is well justified and will help potential xfire buyers get the best deal for their buck.

EVS - sorry I don't know more specifics behind the terms. Usually my first reaction with numbers is to neatly figure it all out - but when I heard the great deal I didn't care if they didn't multiply correctly, or dropped a two or something, I just wanted to sign. If this doesn't satisfy your curiosity PM me and I'll give you my dealer's info and you can check specifics with him.
