Default UK Delivery updates

No word on final spec's, but don't expect them to be that different from european model's. My boss has just booked me on the dealer training for the car which is on the 28th of October - hopefully might be able to get myself into a car to try it.
Must confess that it's a bit disappointing that it's being left to the last moment, but we are being told that all our Nov/Dec allocation cars will arrive as per schedule. [/b]

Default deliveries

Based on what I have heard the dealer demo's will be first out at the end of October, the first customer cars will arrive between 5 to 10 days later, no promises though !.

We are still being assured by DCUK that all Nov allocation vehicle's will be released on schedule, Our dealership was intially allocated 5 cars + a demo - I have sold all 5 between now & the end of the year.

We have been given an extra 3 vehicles for 2003 which will help - but will not meet the demand for this 'baby' when it touches down. Our 2004 allocation is a miserable 25 cars.[/b]

Default well

Bad news for you gordon (15 only) but great news for resale values, whats the plan when punters come in and you can't sell them a car for 6 months? offer them a jeep ? guess the problem is that there isnt anything even close in the range.

Still must be good to have a car that creates lots of excitement in the showroom, and one or two fights over who gets to drive the demo car? dealer principle i guess

I've just be told by a friend that my local dealer in Ipswich will not be a Chrysler dealer much longer. Says it's something to do with losing the right to be a Chrysler dealer! They did start of as a decent sized dealer then they bought in Lexus then soon after Mitsubishi.

As long as I can get my car in November with no problems I don't mind driving down to Colchester.

Not a bad thing thing to have a waiting list, makes my job an easy one. Have been with this dealer for nearly 10 years and back in the good old days when customers were waiting 6 months for a cherokee or grand cherokee I'm confident that if a few good road tests and short supply will secure x fire a good 3 year residual.

Had not heard about Ipswich changing franchise ! - where have you got your car on order - to everyone !!!!

Great site - think it will do well, what is everyone driving now ??

Love to have a x fire demo, do you think they will a towbar option as I will need one to carry 3 children - best stick to my Grand Voyager CRD !!!
