The Cedar interior does exist!
I have been to about 4 different dealers in my surrounding area and have been inquiring this specific Crossfire and no luck. Would I be able to order it? or do I have to sit with my fingers crossed to hopefully run into one at some dealer. I have been getting all these mixed answers. I am totally sold on that option which in my opinion puts the icing on the cake come my purchase in November. Please let me know if there is hope.
Try finding a listing of local and out of state chrysler dealers and check their inventory on the web!Thats how I found mine!I took a 3 hour ride out of state and picked it up.
i'm a bronze silver certified chrysler sales consultant working for a five star dealership in the dallas area. The cedar interior you're talking about, as far as i know, is an aftermarket one. chrysler is talking about having one in calendar year 04 models possibly.

LOLOL...I read that post and thought now there's an uninformed "authority" however, there was the disclaimer "as far as I know"
Sales "consultants" are usually less informed than the public as most of the information they receive from the dealerships has already been in print in some car mag or some other source.
Aftermarket??? for the Crossfire??? You cant even buy a Hat with the Logo!! The luggage, so far, is the best aftermarket product!
About the last thing aftermarketeers will produce is a different interior for this car.
Anyway...Mighty...good response!!
Give me Dustless brakepads...give me a poloshirt...give me a catback muffler system...
hastas

Oh yea, and sorry Nortus, I was probably a little harsh, but I'm just annoyed that at EVERY Chrysler dealer I've been to, the salesman tried to spout off some bull that wasn't true about the Crossfire. I don't know if it was because they simply didn't know any better, or if they were intentionally trying to mislead me, but it was a little ridiculous. The dealer I bought from at least admitted to not knowing much about the car, but it didn't really matter, because the cars they were getting for the next year were all already accounted for, so it's not like they needed to sell them.
Wow....Your the top sales guy.... thats scary!!When I stated we got a cedar interior car in at my dealer .....where did you think we got it from the upholstery shop??????
Just bustin your *****!!!!!
Bust his ***** why?
Do not blame him, if a sales person don't know somthing all the blame for it has to go to CHRYSLER.
I live in Belgium (Flanders) a backward country some of you will think.
I ordered an X-fire a few days ago, at my local dealer shop. The first one he sold, and I had to explain him different options because they don't have all information (launch will be in a few day's 10/30/03).
He asked me how I know this! You gues what I told him?
Check this cool forum/site www.crossfireforum.org. But hey I don't blame him for not reading all info in here. I have been reading here many houres and reading all this in working time is not an option for most sales peeps.
My opinion is to inform your self before buying a car like this. On this forum it's also fun to do it.
sorry for my bad English
plz don't bust my ***** on all the errors in this post
