Default Blowing exhaust

Hey,
had crossfire for 2 months now. drives great and gets plaenty of looks. however....... i seem to be getting even more looks now it sounds like a Stock car. exhaust seems extremely noisy. is there a usual spot where the exhaust starts to blow before i get it up on the ramps. cheers

Other than the bolts that hold the pipes together, no idea till ya look.
Does it sound like its coming from the front or rear of the car?

Search the gallery for photos that show the underside of the car for an idea of what you will be looking at.

Check to make sure the catalytic converters haven't split the welds. There's been a few members who've had this problem.

Hey thanks for the info. just poked head under the hood. looks like the left cat has split its weld. looks like a welding job for the weekend. how difficult are these to get out? look pretty easy. any tips. Just going to go blow the dust off the Mig Welder.

Check with a dealer. The exhaust system, esp the catalytic converters, is sometimes covered under an extended warranty.

any idea on bolt sizes on the exhaust system? i was assuming they were metric but could be imperial cheers

No idea.

If it were me, I'd replace them with something comparable that was made of stainless steel.

Turns out the Catalytic converter had split as per picture that i nicked from someone elses post.
