A prior problem (different than this one, with the reverse gear problem) they couldn't duplicate, they told me it was documented so if it ever caused problems out of warranty it would be fixed since I complained while in warranty. How much obligation do they have to stick by pre-documented problems out of warranty? Every time I bring my Crossfire in I have literally a laundry list of problems. Typically one gets fixed and they deem the others un-duplicatable.. To be honest, part of me can't wait till its out of warranty so I can stop dealing with one Crossfire certified mechanic per dealer and do the work myself!

Bottom line. Chrysler warranty service SUCKS. I will NEVER buy a new car (this was used 15k) unless its German with courtesy cars for the length of the warranty.
All Crossfires came with a special warranty that provides free courtesy cars during the 3/36 bumper to bumper. Your dealership may not be smart enough to know that! Someone here posted the official paperwork on it... it came in the packet with all new crossfires. Chrysler did this only with the crossfire to help sweaten the deal hoping to give special upper class treatment to Crossfire owners. Demand that you get a car... tell them to call Chrsyler and ask about it and get your free car.

Typical of a dealership to say everything is fine. Your flap may not be broken... yet. But it could be on its way out. As for cleaning the blower, drop the panel under the passenger dash. The blower looks like a circle and has a few screws... drop it down and you can feel around in there. Also while you are down there clean out the cabin air filter (get a new one) and replace that. I bet you will find some leaves and debri in there.

Some people that hear a similar noise from the AC checked their blower and said it was caused by leaves. That was not the case with me because I cleared everything out and it was still making the noise. It got bad enough so the dealer could hear it and notice the problem. But it is possible that your problem could be leaves in the blower. It is difficult for me to say because I can't hear it.... but just drop the blower and filter and see what you find. Search around on here for the instructions. I did it myself and it was very easy and painless!
