Offering my DCX employee discount...
...to any takers. There's a program that's been going since Sept. that allows DCX employees to give ONE of their discount #s to anyone, instead of just family. Crossfire is eligible for the employee discount as of last Friday. Of course there are some catches, namely:
* The program ends 11/30/03.
* Your dealer has to be willing to give the EP price on the Crossfire, since particaption is voluntary.
* This is only good in the U.S.
To clarify, I'll give the number to anyone looking at a Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep; it doesn't have to be a Crossfire.
First PM to me gets it.

The Employee Advantage website is out of date. You can confirm eligibility w/ Pat Kittle(a dealer who posts here regularly) or check Employee News Daily from 11/10/03. This was also confirmed in email to Detroit zone employees on 11/3/03 with subject "Year-end Sales Drive begins with November Incentives". FWIW, I've already given out my Employee Choice control number, and that individual IS receiving EP on their Crossfire.
From Employee News Daily (10/24/03):
Durango, Crossfire now included in Employee Advantage programs
Just announcedoth the all-new 2004 Dodge Durango and 2004 Chrysler Crossfire are now included in all of the Employee Advantage programs, including Employee Choice. Employees can give anyone they choose their employee discount toward one of these great new vehicles from now until Oct. 31, when the program expires.
This was the first notification. The Employee Choice program was extended to 11/30, and now until 12/31.

I have a employee control number if anyone is interested. You need to act quickly as it's only good through Dec 31, 2003. This will bring about 12.25% savings off the MSRP, delivery costs are not factored in the savings.
The Employee Choice program has been brought back for the month of March, thus I have another control number to give away. Not looking for anything in return, just trying to sell some cars and reap some job security. :wink:
This for real, just ask Judy, she and her husband John used a control number to buy their X-Fire last November.
Some caveats: You can go through any dealer you'd like, but if you're in Michigan, I'd prefer you go to Pat Kittle at Southfield Chrysler Jeep to close the deal. The program runs through 3/31/04.
Let me know if you're interested.

Do you still have your employee number for a friend? I'd like to lease a Jeep and the deal ends today. I'd appreciate your help.

Before using an employee discount, I'd see what kind of deal you can get without one. There's a dealer near me advertsing $9000 off MSRP. I visited them and they jerked me around too much so I left. I stopped by another dealership on the way home and picked up a 2004 for $8000 off MSRP. That would be a better deal than the 12% below dealer invoice that I understand the employee discount will give you.
