Default Just died on me.

Hello all, I wondered if someone out there might know what is wrong with my 04 coupe. I was on my way to work this morning and going about 55-60 and it just died on me. I coasted to the side of the road tried to start it and absolutely nothing happens. Wont turn over nothing not a sounds. all lights work, battery is fine its just dead! I'm far from a mechanic but it obviously wouldnt be a starter or something like that since it died while driving it? Can anyone help? Ideas?

I always like to stay ahead of the game. Where can I find these two parts? Any ballpark guess on the price of each?

Monty

I purchased a new relay module from Mercedes Benz.....when I removed the module, flipped it over, there was the MB part number and 3 pointed star. 175 bucks from Benz, over 200 from Chrysler and Benz had it in stock.

I ordered a spare crankshaft sensor from autohausaz.com a couple weeks ago. It was about about $43.

Your Parts Search Returned 1 Part(s)

There is a good write-up here also:

I resoldered the RCM the other night. Two solder joints for me. The hardest part was pulling the circuit/relay board out of the plastic housing. The car has been good since! Thanks to the forum save a couple of benjamins!
