Yeah, Detox to get whatever substance it is out of their systems; Acuras have gone from simple elegance to simply ugly.

 

Frankly, I think the Z had its best days with the 300. I thought they were one of the best designed production sport cars. And what's with the "ricer"? Its clearly derogatory and seems so last century. Having said that who and why someone came up with that name? It's like calling Americans "breader" or something. Silly and unimaginative. ... I digress....

 

These cars aren't in the same category.. the crossfire should be compared to the rsx-s, wrx, and maybe the s2000. As far as interior and mercedes components, it seperates itself from all others. The Z is a fast car.. especially the 07+.

 

You are new here, only 1 post, have you ever driven the Crossfire? It has a lot more torque than people think

Its not all about speed and if you want faster get the srt6. But the base has a lot more torque than you think. I thought it would feel slow but it feels very fast, and handles amazing at any speed.

 

Thats cool. I would love to drive one. I imagine its a similar feel to the s2000 if it is actually that light. Just came across these forums and thought it was strange how chrysler owners were associating nissan with unreliability

 

I havent heard people say nissan is not reliable but the crossfire is made mostly by mercedes and has had no major problems, and the 350z and rx8 have

 

And im not sure about the s2000, ive never driven in one, but I have riden in a rx8 and know the crossfire has a lot more torque than that.

 

in 03 tire feathering. in 06 oil consumption. Its been 4 years since a problem, neither occurred often and both were minor to begin with.. I read that a transmission leak recall occurred in the crossfire

 

Theyre all low to mid 6 second cars.. Thats all im getting at. A manual z 07+ can get to 60 in 4.9.. its night and day as far as performance

 

Ok didnt know much about the 350z problems but that dosent sound bad, I bought my XF used a few months ago, its a stick shift and is very fun to drive. I dont know about transmission leak

I think they were 5.5... I remember when the wrx came out it boasted an advertisement like " a dog, kids, a wife and still ffaster than the 2 door Z. I remember the wrx was 5.4 in 03

 

I think in a race a 350z could beat a base crossfire but the crossfire looks a lot better

 

I think the srt6 crossfire is 4.8 0-60

 

so it'd give the 370 a run for the money..
