yes 330-350 horse, dont know about torque...the 370 is heavier than the 350, so performance times don't increase dramatically over the HR motor (07-08, Bump in the hood) The 370 nismo is also ridiculously expensive..I think I'd look for a used porsche if i was considering a new 370 nismo

It's going to depend on what you want. The 350z is a more potent sports car than the crossfire. It's likely faster in all areas. The VQ engine is a staple of the nissan lineup, so I personally would not worry about reliability. They are handsome cars, but the interiors are horrible. I just couldn't put myself in one for a prolonged period of time. For me, I'd rather have something unique and different. Plus I seem to have a fondness for German cars, so the crossfire represents a better value to me.
Having said all of that, I'd have a very hard time turning down a slightly used 370Z. I really like those. I would potentially have to move to the darkside for one of those!

Well...I just saw a review on Yahoo about the most reliable cars. Nissan dropped to DEAD LAST in a tie with Jeep. Nissan used to be one of the most reliable (Japanese) brands out there. Their quality has really dropped. Chrysler's went up though!
I'll try to find the story if I can...

I hate to spoil the fun, but my local dealer, has a nismo...it is interesting...I stopped by, sat in it, fired her up...and even though they have done a lot with it...for the money, I wouldn't give up my SRT for it, and I know it won't stay with a modded SRT...and remember, this a fully modded Z...so even is even...and I agree, my jeeps have never given me any trouble...so much for ratings..

Obviously All Euro is an enthusiast and knows nothing of anything about the staple of the Nissan lineup. Hnds down the RB26DETT is the only and i mean the only staple from nissan. The SR20 series is Nissan's second contender. If you want to talk about reliability versus versatility their is so much more that can be done with a straight line six. Just a country boy who knows his cars throwing his two cents in. Now put that in your pipe and smoke it.

The basic block is used in everything from Rogues, to Altimas, to the Quest minivan, a bored-out version is used in the two truck platforms, we also use it in the Maxima and last but not least, the Z. If that's not versatility, I'll eat my hat.
350Z's are easy lunch for SRT-6. No questions asked. The 370 isn't that much of a threat, it would mainly be a driver's race. Same driver in both cars would yield quicker road-course times in the Z but the SRT takes the cake in the 1/4. Plus, I despise the synchro-rev and the interior of the 370 looks like a bad Lego project. Not for me...
While I agree that the RB26DETT is a great motor and makes gobs of reliable power if tuned correctly, the 3.5 is the moneymaker for Nissan. Make no mistake.
Smoked the pipe, and it wasn't bad. I'll stick to my cigars though.

being older, I just look at $$$$-HP....still hard to find anything out there that performs as well as the XF for the $$$$$...All manufacturers have their sports cars, but look at the price...I like the ZR-1 being an Vette guy...but, I don't have 114K...
