Default Headlight Problem

I just registered on here. i've had my crossfire for about 5 months and the headlights seem to point about ten yards out and then don't shine much farther. i've replaced the bulbs and adjusted the **** all the way up and it still doesn't help much. in good conditions its a manageable problem but if it rains in can't see anything. is there a way to point the projectors up higher or is this a permanent problem. i'm thinking about getting a HID kit, would this give my lights more distance. any advice will help. thanks

The problem you are seeing(!) is the bulb is not properly seated in its little detent. They can be a bear to get right. Release the clip and try to rotate the bulb while it is on. Take a look first to see that the tab is even close to being in the right place-use a small mirror if you must.

HID's are great for these cars. Check out the "Sticky" in the Lighting forum.

Oh-you will need to re-adjust the screw when you finally have it right.
