Default Automatic sound increase with speed ??

The stereo is supposed to have a feature that increase volume as speed / noise increases. Does anyone know how to activate this feature? If it is always on then I think mine does not work

I'm going to have to read my manual again. I didn't know anything about the auto-volume thing. I haven't noticed any volume changes with mine. But I wasn't looking for it either. I'll let you know if I come up with anything.

I read about that feature in a magazine article but could not find it in my manuel. A lot of the info in the earler magazine articles conflicts with what we have ended up with in our xfires.

It activates when you turn the radio on!!!! It's a slight increase so don't expect much.

The feature is there. I only noticed it once just recently, even though I could tell it was doing it. I have experienced this in other cars, and I think they actually did a really good job on it in the Crossfire. The other cars I have experienced it in do it rather sharply, and abruptly, and are kind of jarring. The Crossfire does it very subtly and it is very nice.

I hunted all through the owner's manual and nothing about it.
