Default Heated Washer Nozzels?

I was just looking over the spec sheet - it says the Liimited Coupes and Roadsters have heated windsheild washer nozzels.

Where is the switch to turn the heat on? Or is it automatic?

Seems like every day that goes by, I find out something ELSE I didnt know about the car I'v owned for almost six weeks now.

I think they are automatic, but I really don't know for sure. do you know where the coin holder is? or how to really open the hood all the way?

Then hopefully your garner of knowledge will become inversely proportional to your number of posts. HA

Check your fuse block to see if your heated nozzles are actually installed and connected. How they work?... beats me.

The coin holder is in the "ash tray", when you push on the door and the spring deploys the tray, you gently pull on the top of the tray door and it hinges foreward to open the coin holder.
It took me a while to find that little button on the hood prop. Once you open the hood to normal, feel along the back about 2" down from the hood end, depress the spring loaded button and gently lift the hood, this will allow to go to the 90 degree position.

Well I need heated windshield nozzles like ummm.....

But what I did find , driving in the rain at speed with the wipers on low, then coming to a stop light they became intermittent, back up to about 10 mph. they started wiping at low speed again.

Yea, I stayed up WAY too late last night.

Well, this car will NEVER be anywhere that I will need them - I was just wondering.

I read the exterior rear view mirror heaters and the rear window defrost operate from the same switch. Could it be that the washer heaters are also integrated? That's be my guess.

that would do no good if they only worked when you have the defroster on because, nobody would drive with it on all the time, more likely is that they come on when a certain temp. is reached or they are on all the time, it would take very little heat to keep them from freezing

It is my understanding that the washer fluid is heated due to the placement of the fluid reservoir. If the car is running, you should have heated windshield washer fluid.
And yes, I believe the side mirror heaters are activated with the rear defrost button.
Cheers.

I've had the wiper cowl off to change the alarm and you can see the wires run to the washer nozzles. By the way Ryan we missed you at Woodward this year, maybe next year.
