Thats for the manual. Auto is 28,500. On the road price + Metallic. 400.00. Total 28,900. Now thats a surprise, back last year they said between 26K and 29K. Guess they must have dropped the 99.99 , how kind!
all dealers will get a car pre 15th for launch otherwise some dealers would have an advantage over each other DCUK have committed to the network that they will get their demos.
the only colour that isn't 400 is black.........apparently the paint cause some discussion at the product launch days, its really taken the shine off for me if you excuse the pun!

Test driving a UK spec Crossfire at my local dealer tomorrow (Saturday 8th Nov). If anyone wants me to answer any questions they have I will look here tomorrow before I leave. I will also post a picture to my gallery. As I am the only person in my area to order one I am trying to get the Crossfire for 1 week to test.
WOW, they are finally arriving then.
Let is know your general feelings after the test drive. Can't wait to hear that exhaust note@.
One thing you could check out is how much left leg room there is. You get alot of RHD cars that don't convert that well from LHD . PT cruiser being one of them. I can't get my left leg straight as it hits the centre console, which makes it a bit crammed.

Test drove a uk spec Crossfire on Saturday and it was absolutely stunning. I have posted some pics to my album. It felt very solid and fast, the fastest I drove was about 95mph and it was very smooth. The engine sounded good (much like a Mercedes engine normally sounds), however it was an automatic so I could not get the max out of the engine on the roads I drove on (South West Scotland). The car was solid over the rough stuff and only a hint of understeer on sharp corners. One of the best things I liked about it was the noise of the wing reclining as I slowed down approaching a roundabout (very cool, like an aircrafts flaps when coming into land).
As it was an automatic it was hard to tell if there was enough room for your left foot if it were a manual, but there was plenty of room in the automatic (I have size 9 shoes). There was plenty of leg room and head room ( I am 5' 11" small).
The stereo has green backround and clear black writing so I think there will be no problem with seeing it during the day.
On the UK wide release day my dealer is inviting me for another test drive and a meal in a resteraunt !!!! They think I will have my car (6 speed manual silver) at the earliest end of November into 2nd week of December at the latest. They are also fuming mad about the 400 metallic paint charge and are talking to Chrysler about this during next week. They will have more details about the servicing routine etc as well during next week.
One bad point is that the car does need the boot cover as standard as it is naked without it, it feels like it should be there and I feel we should not have to pay for it.
Any other questions please feel free to ask and I hope all the UK buyers get to try the car soon as you will not be dissapointed. ( back tyres are 255).

Nice to hear someone has had a test drive
Its strange looking at a picture of a RHD Crossfire after looking at pictures of a LHD for so long.
Went to my Chrysler/Merc dealer on Saturday and asked when the demo ws coming in as another dealer has got one. I was told thats not true and didn't know when they were getting one. ARGHHHH

My dealer was very surprised that they got a car, even ahead of their other dealership in Carlisle who have sold 3 cars. My sales contact said that all dealers should have one soon and they are being allocated one extra for stock (arriving before the year end).
Anyway, more about the car, I have been thinking of little else. I liked the cabin and the centre dash is ok, I did not find the plastic cheap. Although the plastic used to the right of the steering wheel were the key and light controls are does look a little out of place. The seats are very comfortable with good adjustment and look cool. When the car is driving it just feels smooth and solid. If it were to hit a wall it feels like the wall would come of second best.
Mark Uk and Adf3786 I hope your dealers get a car quick for you to try you will not be dissapointed.. regards
