Does anyone know what the purpose is for the approximately 3 inch long strap on the back of the passenger seat in the head rest area?

 

I found it..... It was in a place in the owner's manual I would have never looked...... It's for a Child's car seat. My Crossfire will never have one of those things in it. If it did that would mean that I have a Kid in the car.... Never!!! My Grandkids ride in my Explorer if I have to take then someplace.

 

I took my little four-year-old buddy, August, for a ride in my Crossfire in his car seat. His joy may have surpassed my own!
