My Crossfire Totaled!!!
I'm sorry to here that - there are too many drivers that truly suck out there!
Glad to hear that you are OK, though - if you've got to be in a wreck these cars sure to protect the occupants.
Now get better and get an SRT .

Deb,
Sorry to hear about the accident, but very glad you are ok. Unfortunately I know exactly what you are feeling. Mine was totaled in April of this year... Don't get to down, do your due dilligence with regards to the car and take care of yourself and everything will be fine.
I know for me, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise (even though totaling a crossfire is never a real blessing). I ended up finding an SRT which turned out to be pretty much an even trade from my '07 base coupe, and now I couldn't be happier....Well, unless of course I had multiple SRTs.
Good luck with all the legality of the accidentg and you will be in my prayers.
Just as an aside, I wanted to let you know what I got for my crossfire when it was totaled. My '07 base coupe had right around 12,000 miles on her, and other than the part that was totaled was in pristine condition (as I'm sure yours was too). Geico ended up giving me $17,000 for the car (which for me was only about $1500 less than I paid brand new). So on a good note, if you have similar circumstances with miles and condition you should get right around there or maybe a little more because of the power/heated seats, etc. that is on the limited.
That means you could be right in the market for an SRT as I'm sure you can find a fairly low mileage one for somewhere between 16-20k. I got really lucky and found mine with 19k miles for 16.5k.
Again, good luck with everything, hope you heal quickly. You will be in my prayers and hope to see you at the dragon in a new beauty

Very sorry to hear this...
If you stand your ground maybe you'll end up with one you love even more.
Good luck and take care of the injuries,
Mike

The most important thing is that you're fine and posting. I will pray for you to continue to stay healthy and that the pain will leave very soon.
Take care of yourself...
Take care of yourself...
My god, its been a bad couple weeks for Crossfires! Imploded fuel tanks, hit and runs, collisions, arsons! Glad to hear you are okay. As said before cars can be replaced but not the drivers. Gut-wrenching to see it all smashed I'm sure, but you will find another. Keep us posted on everything that happens!
Oh MY! How did I miss this today?
So glad you are OK.
Keep us posted as to your progress. On your health and on your baby.
We were so looking forward to meeting you.
That is hopefully , still possible.
Our prayers for you.

Sorry to hear the news here today Deb.
It's good to have friends here who care and understand your pain (physical and emotional) pain.
Take care of yourself first and then get another Crossfire.
I hope the insurance is fair when settling up with your loss.
Keep us all posted in the days to come and hang in there.

Just saw the post and thought,
"NO WAY!"
Say it ain't so!
Sorry the car is toasted. Gald you have plenty of time to find a "new" one and get all healed up before the BIG St Louis meet.
See ya there!

Sorry Deb...be very careful with the back and neck issues....these injuries are very tricky. I hurt my back years ago and it has not been the same since. Hope everything comes out GOOD with xrays though...will say a prayer for you right now......oh yeah make sure you get another SSB preferbly SRT...you will thank me later.
Sorry to hear about your accident but at least your OK the car can be replaced. I'm sure its hard, I know the emotional tie I have with my Crossfire and how I would feel if I lost mine. Hope you feel better soon. Pat
sorry to hear it Deb, but you get better first, we will all be looking for your next SRT....and didn't you just say something about being in another accident??? BAD luck coming your way Deb, next week, you may hit the lotto...who knows, but heal up, you have another Dragon to slay soon...in an SRT this time, so lets all get busy and find her a car...
Deb, I'm very sorry for your loss and your injuries. Be at the Dragon!
Now, let's see what we can do about making hand-held phone use while driving illegal. Too many accidents (negligence) for my tastes.

I'm shocked as everyone else is. Makes you think twice about stopping for a yellow light. (not really, but maybe) After my accident (decades ago) and after 3 months with the Chiropractor what finally got me right was exercising in the swimming pool. Moving your parts around without weight on them does miracles. Ask your doctor if he thinks it's a good idea in your situation. It could be a good reason for a vacation in the Caribbean!

Deborah, I'm so very sorry to hear about your little SSB. I know how much mine means to me, I don't like to think of what I would do to such a dolt. But as others have said, the car can be replaced, but you can not. Take care of your self and do what your Chriopractor tells you. As my lovely wife always reminds me "God may shut the door, but He always leaves a window open". Take care and please keeps us posted.
So sorry to hear of your loss, Deb and hope that you are/ will be feeling 100% soon. I have only had my baby a couple of months and live in dire fear of even a scratch, let alone this.
Hope all works out with your health and a new baby!!!

like everyone else, my condolences re: the car, and thanks that you're ok. My buddy just went down on his motorcycle, toatalled it but he was ok, so as I said to him, that you can always replace, but you-not so much.
sorry to hear that - main thing is that no-one was hurt!!!
just to add my 2c worth about the injury side - I had a similar accident about 13 years ago and my neck is still not right make sure you are 100% before getting it all settled
