My Crossfire Totaled!!!
Deb, I am so sorry to hear about you and your car. You are in my prayers and I hope you make a full and speedy recovery as back and neck pain are close to if not the worst type of pain to deal with. Your car can be replaced but you and your "cork soaker" comedy cannot. Hope you find a new one, maybe even an SSB SRT, in time for the dragon and you feel like a million bucks by then.
Take care.

Bless you, Deb. Terribly sorry to hear the sad news. I'd known just how much you loved your XF based on your countless posts and stories. Hope you are back on the mend very soon and get behind the wheel of another baby. Your SSB may be gone, but I, for one, know that your spirit is still alive. Thinking of you.

Well, the car did it's job. It saved your life. It was well-engineered and ruggedly built and functioned as intended.
And now, after you're feeling better, you can go out and get another one - if that's what you want.
And that's what insurance is for.
I'm glad you're ok and hope you feel better soon.

Holy crap, Deb!!
Good to know you're still in one piece & that the car kept another one of our members alive!
What, did your car suddenly become invisible sitting there at the intersection?
My best wishes for a speedy recovery & we all know you'll have another one soon enough!!!

Deb:
Sorry to hear about your accident. Can't believe I didn't see this until a few minutes ago. Take care of your health first & foremost.
Make sure your physicians allow sufficent time to thoroughly examine you, even if it's over a couple of weeks, to make sure any & all conditions are discovered, accurately diagnosed and recommended treatment/rehab is in place. Then give the other driver's insurance company "what for".
And when the time is right and you want to look for another XFire, don't hesitate sending me a PM and I'll help you look for one that meets your needs. I'm constantly searching the various websites for XFires and tend to know what's out there that's both in excellent condition and a good deal. I'm sure others on this Forum would do the same for you.

Glad you're ok, Deb! The wheels can always be replaced no matter how much you loved that baby. Get well and you'll be back in the saddle again...Much love at you!

Awhhh all of you are so very sweet..is good to be a part of such a lovely group of people.
Today, the day after, VERY VERY sore, hurts to even take a breath, I owe the Crossfire my life I feel... it is an excellent car to take such a hit as it did, and by the grace of God I was not T-Boned in the middle of the intersection I was thrust into.
Saw my Chiropractor again late today, all is well as far a fractures or broken bones go. I do however find it hard to breath today... seems that I have a ton of pinched nerves from the wreck but those can be fixed... will just take some time, so I am happy!!!
Now I am looking for my Crossfire~!!.. She is out there somewhere and I will find her, lets just hope the insurance agent gives me what I want for my beauty!!! I will fight to get the best price for her, she won't die cheap!!!
LOL ahhh pain killing drugs are good... no?

Not a call I was happy to take. My sleep was very disturbed last night, came home from work and slept 2 1/2 hours! No need to wonder why.
Calling you now Deb....
I'm a fellow "Deb" and Crossfire owner, so very, very sorry to read about this (feeling your pain). As the others have said, thankfully you are relatively okay.
Also glad to hear you are prepared to get what the car was worth with your insurance company. They almost always lowball on the first couple offers.
And to get a bit vindictive here, I hope the cops threw the book at the idiot that hit you. I am sick and tired of the really bad drivers out there that will blame their complete and utter lack of attention on the road to anything and everything under the sun rather then taking responsibility and learning their lesson before someone gets killed.
A prayer for you that you heal up well and come out of this better then you were knocked in!
