this is a long thread that I havent completly read so if someones already mentioned this then sorry. You can get a thid brake light flasher from ebay for 20 bucks. simple 2 wire install, its hidden my rear liftgate panel. Mine flashes 8 times EVERY time I tap brakes then stays constant. It bugs people but then again it gets their attention .
Happy to hear yo found a new ride.

Curtis

You know, this whole mess really got resolved quickly, Deb.

You sure sounded bad on the phone that day... Anyway, I'll bet you enjoy the Dragon all the more
THIS time - having come so close to being a spectator only!

So Deborah, this past weekend (I think) was when you were taking delivery of your new XFire and driving home. So let us know an update.

Later,

I wonder if she got back yesterday or maybe is still on the road this morning. She and her sister were to arrive in South Bend toward the end of the day - I think the drive home was gonna be 15 hours or so with one night on the road. Maybe she opted to take two nights on the road.

A few minutes ago, Deb called my cellphone, but I could not get to it in time. Her message was that she and her sister were in Tennessee. They've been stopping off and goofing around a lot and will be spending TWO nights on the road.

Deb and her sister are stopping for the night in Chatanoooooooooooooooooooooooga, Tennessee.

I told her that I-75 was flooded and closed at Mile 277.1 and maybe other places. She is not going to try to come thru in the dark and will wait till morning.

North Georgia is a MESS!!!

It's ok here on the southside, but the northside is AWFUL. Up to 21 inches of rain in some places - just since friday!!!!

Might be better if they took the Southern Arizona route!

Not saying better for who.
Just better that's all!

Careful with that NEW car Deb!

Well ALL, I made it HOME.... put 1,134 miles on the car!!!! I did stay in Chattanooga TN and waited on the rain levels to subside, by morning the rain had stopped and the SUN CAME OUT!!!! So, my Sister and I went to the Atlanta Aquarium! Man, if you have not been there, make the trip, it is unreal. Will post some pics in my gallery!!! The water around I-75 in Atlanta was just about up to the road when we were going through, good thing Pizzaguy (Mark) helped me out with a weather and road report!!!!

So the Crossfire is great and the man who sold it to me truly loved the car and took very good care of her! She has found a new home with me and will be well loved and cared for... first order of business.... NEW TIRES!!! She is still sporting the "oringinals" !!! Yikes!!! No Dragon for those tires, and too, I could hear a wobble sound and had it checked out on the way home, tire guy said it was the way the tire was wearing, but was safe to take it on home and get my tires locally, (Wow, an honest guy!!! My hats off to Tire Discounters in Kentucky!!!) He could have told me anything, but was honest and I appreciate that.

I am home, safe, no incidents and will be outside tomorrow, washing the car!!! LOL A Labor of Love!!!

Deb

Oooooo got a little taste of the Dragon, though not quite as agressive, going up to Cumberland Gap Waterfalls.... was fun and was a good pace to break in my car. I am sure she has not been put through any paces.... She did well!!!
