I had a 2006 GTO. I will say it was fast. But it was not nearly as much fun to drive (other than rapidly pulling away from someone) as the crossfire is. No comparison. I mean the GTO would accelerate like hell in any gear at any speed. But, hit a corner, and it wasn't so fun...
Haha i thought the exact same thing when reading this article. This would drive up the demand which means higher prices for new buyers like myself. So im glad the secretbis still safe. Haha

On a slalom course, only the Honda beats the NA Crossfire by 1/10 of a mph. according to Road & Track.
The funny thing is that Consumer Reports did name the '04 Coupe as a best buy in the 14-17000 range. I was excited when I saw it in my parents Consumer Report book.
