Just picked up my silver / black interior 6spd Crossfire on Tuesday.

I work for DCX in one of the business centers. Had the opportunity to drive 3 different ones before my own. I must say I love the car.

Either way, just wanted to say hi. I'll help out any way I can. I know all the Tech Advisors so I can shoot them questions if you guys have any. I should be able to give out some good info on the car as time goes on.

See ya around!

Hello,
First of all congrads. I was recently welcomed into the club and now I would like to pass it on to you too. It's good to see fellow DCXers realizing the greatness of this car. It's exciting to see our little club growing. Congrads again.

Welcome aboard DFWSBR. I'm sure we can use your inside info. It's always good to hear from another Crossfire owner.

Enjoy!!!

DFWSBR,

Can you provide us with any additional info on the high performance SRT6 due out in May, '04?

Will it be an "04 or an '05 model?

Will it replace the existing 215 hp engine or become an option or separate model?

Any indication as to price differential?

It's great to have another Chrysler employee on board. It is also good to know that you have enough confidence in the Crossfire to buy one of your own.

Thanks

I did get to see one of the "almost final versions a week ago", however the details weren't totally clear. I can give some of the speculations, however I would much rather wait and give the facts. I know the relase on it should be June / July which should make it a 05 model. The HP should be around 340-350 hp (supercharged motor) Same as AMG package on the SLK.

Pricing has not been set for either the convertable or the SRT6. The wheels / tires were the same, but I think they would change that up before production to increase traction. However it doesn't look like they would have much room left, does it?

I will keep you guys posted! I would have waited, but I drove enough of them to just have the love and desire to have one of my own.
