I've been reading around the"upsolute". K&N Filters is always a must for me since my last car (IS 300 LX). There is a dealer down here in Homestead, FL Not too far from where I live. Will give them call tomorrow & sees what he says. I'm sure there are 20 million things that can be done to this car to make it faster. One can stick an F-18 Hornet engine out from the back & probably shred an enzo to sh%t. But $400 + filters sounds about a good price range. I miss that sinking feeling into my chair that I would get from my IS 300. That is all I want & I don't mind being set back $400. but Wes, IF you get a chance pls post HP & Torque, very interested in seeing those #'s. Even though I am calling Upsolute, my mech friends can't believe the price for this!

James, saw the graph, it says Powerchip fuel 91. Is it considering fuel, and this Upsolute chip. Saw Powerchip site, there is a powerchip 93 which is what I put in my car now. According to the site 93 chip gives more output than 91. Sorry for the double up on messages :?:

Yes, but you have to make sure you run at least 93 octane in that case. It will give you more optimized output, but at the cost of having to use a higher octane. That won't be much of a problem in Florida, though. Most respectable stations down here use 93 instead of 91 anyway just because the climate is hotter. But travelling might cause you some concern

Does anyone know where you can get 93 octane fuel in Arizona (Phoenix or Tucson). I've been paying more attention at the gas stations now, and I only see 91 octane.

James, sorry about this since you have an RSX, But got to tell this story...
On my way back from work today, just about 1/2 an hr ago, met an RSX on the road. I Wasn't gunning it or anything just cruising. Got off of 836w onto 107th when it all began. Started w/left turn onto NW 12th west bound, now this strip of road does a lot of "s" turns but before it is just one 1/4 mile long before that part. Just Beautiful stretch of road. Well, to make long story short, all he saw was DUST! LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

Was it a Base or a Type S? There is no difference between the models except for 40horses and a badge on the back.

Couldn't see, he never got in front of me  . But what I can tell you it was modified, the car shreiked @ 2nd & @ 3rd. I know an RSX, S or not, can't pull that off unless there is an xtra hoof somewhere.

Must have been a Base model, because an RSX-S can easily pull 14.7 in the quarter mile with just a cold-air intake

Magnaflow gets done on Wednesday,2 June and K&Ns are in the mail!!!
Have not planned on any before and after specs but know all will be positive.................

Then XFIREX will have the headstart with REDCROSS on the Magnaflow. I wanted it done this Saturday but the CF tech was nowhere to be found.

It says it'll add 12 horses....hhmmmm better than Upsolute?
