Your first post states you purchased the car 21 months ago, was it sitting on the new car lot the rest of the time?
I bought mine brand new in August of 2005. So when I say I have 57K miles on my "original pads" then you should believe me and not question. I wouldn't come on here and make a claim like this that wasn't true.

If you want my vin number so you can run a carfax let me know.... just in case you want to confirm I am the original owner of my vehicle.

All work was done at the dealership and documented. Last time it was there I asked them to replace the pads because I assumed 50K+ miles was time to get it done. They told me I still had plenty of pad left. I forgot the percentage but it was very good. Not sure if they were pulling my leg but I figure they would want the business so why refuse to do the job. I have no squeeks and no sign of bad breaks.... that is all I know!

Oh I had 44k miles on my original limited, sold it with the original brakes and probably had another 20 - 30k miles worth of life left.

Sorry, I basically aimed this at the other poster who said in his first post that he purchased it less than two years ago. I just added your mileage as an example.

Just an FYI....

I just got an email that my pads have shipped from brakeworld.com. I just ordered them yesterday. Sweet!
