Default Cell Phone Bracket

Hi everyone. I just wanted to let everyone know about a new product we have at CrossfireShop.com. It is a Crossfire specific cell phone bracket. It is made just for the Crossfire, and is extremely easy to install. Check it out here:

Crossfire Cell Phone Bracket

Thanks!

I have the universal cell phone holder with it, and I can use it to hold my iPod, since I try not to talk on the cell anyway while I drive.

How are you connecting your iPod to the radio?

When I saw the cell phone holder, my first thought was if it would hold our iPod.

We just purchased our Crossfire today.

I used a cord made by Belkin. You can order it from Apple.com. I then had an audio shop hardwire it into the car, and to the stereo. They drilled a very small hole in the the glovebox, and snaked the wire through. I'll take some pictures when I get a chance.

I have the Belkin car charge with the audio-out jack, but that still requires an FM transmitter. You post says that the audio shop "hardwired it into the car and to the stereo."

I found your post in the "Modifications" thread that says you're using an FM transmitter. Is that the case...or did you actually find a way to connect direct to the stereo without the FM transmitter?

No matter what, pictures would be great.

Many thanks...

Default No AUx

There seems to be a lack of any Aux input on the head unit, howevre i think you could hack the wiring loom for a CD changer if you had the right pin outs, I bet DC will offer the CD changer soon!

Yes they installed a FM modulator. Works pretty well. Sometimes there is a little static, but otherwise the sound quality is good.
