REPLACEMENT RADIOS AUTHORIZED!
I have an appointment today, 10 December at 2:30 to change out the invisible display radio with the visible edition. The replacement radio was ordered on Friday and arrived at the dealership Tuesday.
If you have the yellow on black and are not happy, I would suggest that you visit you dealer and demand a replacement.

I was just at my dealership today here in northeast Ohio & asked about the TSB or any info available on the replacement of the radio due to the unreadable display. Both the service tech assigned to work on the Crossfire & the Service Dept staff checked with Chrysler. Their response was "no TSB yet" & as a result no radio change-out.
The tech indicated that he would let me know as soon as he hears about a release. He has been very service conscious & responsive so far.
If anyone else knows how to accomplish this, let us know. Unfortunately, I put the XXXfire away today for the winter. Any service will have to wait for April, '04

Thanks,
My radio came in the other night. I will be going into the dealer tomorrow to have it replaced.
I'll have images taken and posted when it is completed.
You all are welcome. Just one of the many perks of working for the corporation. That and having a friend who is a Tech Advisor

I'm very happy with the new display.
Here are some images. I took them with the deck off, deck on, deck on with head lights on, etc.

Sorry the dealership is confused. They really should have contacted the technical advisor before turning you away.
The radio TSB wasn't in the dealership computer system yet as of friday.I will let everyone know when the TSB is finally out at the dealers.Should be this week! Trust me it will make it easier if the TSB is in their system!
