Broken Mirror Adjustment Knob
I got into the xfire the other day and noticed that for some odd reason my mirror adjustment **** had been pushed down into the center console. I have no clue how this happened, but I tried for about 15 minutes to fix it when I gave up due to no luck. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Reading it a second time.. it is possible that it was just pushed out, and the clips weren't broken.. It's not that hard to access if you want to check it out..
A few pieces you'll have to remove..
First, the shifter bezel (the rectangular frame) surrounding the gear selector. Use a plastic knife or something plastic wedge-like (NOT METAL IT WILL SCRATCH / WARP THE PLASTIC I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE!!) and pull up.. you won't break it.. there are 4 clips holding it in.. feels like its gonna break but it won't
Second, the actual shifter plate, i found the best way to do this is to locate the bottom of it where there's a slight gap between the two pieces, put your wedge in there, and pry up. You can then disconnect the mirror switches
Third, there should be 2 screws holding the front end of the rear center console together, take those out.
Fourth, look inside your center console bin, at the back there's a flap of carpet. Lift that up and remove those two screws as well
Fifth, you need to remove the e-brake handle.. no trick, just pull up on the rubber grip until you get it off.. this part SUCKS and it's really hard to do.
Now you should be able to manuevur the rear console out of the latch catches and pull it off.. since your mirror switch is already through this won't be a pain in the *** if it was connected.. you should then be able to figure out if the clips are broken or it just fell through..
If the clips aren't broken, it is a royal pain in the *** to put the mirror switch in, and align the console back up.. the wire isn't very long so you don't have much room to wiggle with..
Hope that helps, 2am and did everything from memory so if you need anything else just post, I took apart my console so many times it's scary.
