~ it is the button or reflective end cap.

it is supposed to be attached to the area at the end of the bulb. it just fell off.

Regarding the pic above...this just happened to my Xfire...is it possible to put that cap back on yourself?

Unfortunately it's a sealed unit, the assembly would have to be replaced. There is an updated unit that won't have the cap fall off.
