Default Any one done a Dyno test yet?

Has anyone done a Dyno test yet. I was thinking about taking mine in to see what kind of numbers I come up with before I start messing with anything. I've already changed the air filters to K&N. I'll put the stock filters back in for a run and then check it w/the K&Ns.

I read somewhere that without a STAR system, you can't go over a certain rpm (3k) on a dyno. It will sense the front wheels are not spinning and prevent you from getting your full range dyno pull. The STAR system however has a dyno mode you can disable that feature during the test.

The STAR system is the dealer hand held computer that connects to the communications controller on the car.

I had heard from a friend that Dyno tested his CLK that the stability/traction control can be disabled.... I'm not sure if it's pulling a fuse unplugging or what.... And that will take care of that problem. I'll get more info.

Is the CLK the same platform as the SLK?

Isn't our car based off of the SLK 320?

I tried to get a dyno test done a while back. Could not rev past 4K. We turned off the traction control but it didn't help. Tried applying brake load on the dyno- no joy. Something has to be turned off with the STAR system but I never pursued it any further.
