Smile Things To Be Sorted

Things to be sorted:

- Turn off the alarm if seatbelt not on
Is this possible?

- Rear foglight
Should normally work (redlight) right?

- New buttons (volume / choice joggle ) for stock radio
Where to be found?

- Electric seat (passenger seat) only move back/forward and tilt.NOT up and down.
New motor needed?

- Seat heaters, disfunctional on driver seat, partially (butt) on passenger
Where can I find new kits to install myself? canadian 99 dollars?

- New set of car keys
100$ ?

- foggy headlights after carwash due to bad rubber seal?
How to do? any hints?

- left roof light does not work
probably lamp or circuit

- New set of car mats / rubber mats for winter use?
Where to find? Stock OEM ones?

- Best airfilter for XFIRE N/A?
ITG? K&N?

- Winter ski rack possible for crossfire?

Thanks for all the help.

May be possible with DRBIII that Chrysler uses or maybe with the MB STAR system. How about unplugging the buzzer?

- Rear foglight

Should not work. Not used on USA cars. It may be possible to to jump wires from brake light to fog light so that you get more brake light. I did this to my Mini Cooper.

- New buttons (volume / choice joggle ) for stock radio
Where to be found?

Dealer maybe. I have seen them before on Ebay.

- Electric seat (passenger seat) only move back/forward and tilt.NOT up and down.
New motor needed?

That is all the passenger seat does.

- Seat heaters, disfunctional on driver seat, partially (butt) on passenger
Where can I find new kits to install myself? canadian 99 dollars?

Search forum

- New set of car keys
100$ ?

Must get from dealer and be programmed

- foggy headlights after carwash due to bad rubber seal?
How to do? any hints?

Have been covered under warrenty. or Search forum or buy replacements. On Ebay all the time

- left roof light does not work
probably lamp or circuit

Check light and if needed wiring

- New set of car mats / rubber mats for winter use?
Where to find? Stock OEM ones?

Join Crossfire club and they have some nice ones for sale or Dealer or Ebay

- Best airfilter for XFIRE N/A?
ITG? K&N?

K&N with stock engine cover.

- Winter ski rack possible for crossfire?

I wish I was going skiing! Becareful of one tat attaches to the rear deck lid as it could interfer with with the wing.

Hi! Thanks for all the answers.

[quote=LantanaTX]Things to be sorted:

has the local chrysler dealer (Europe) access to those kind of systems?

Unplugging the beep thingie? well, not good if you drive off with the handbrake... But the seatbelt thing is quite irritating. I do use my seatbelt, but not when driving up the driveway.

- New buttons (volume / choice joggle ) for stock radio

Dealer maybe. I have seen them before on Ebay.

Okay, I found some radios, but I am only after the joggle buttons as they are dirty. Are they cleanable? :P I have not bought the car yet.

- Electric seat (passenger seat) only move back/forward and tilt.NOT up and down.
New motor needed?

That is all the passenger seat does.

Still, I checked a black (not base model) n/a one on friday. If I am not mistaken the passenger seat could also be lifted up. It should not only be the driver seat. Or? The black one was not US but a swedish one. But it should not differ.

- Seat heaters, disfunctional on driver seat, partially (butt) on passenger
Where can I find new kits to install myself? canadian 99 dollars?

Search forum

I have, no luck where to be bought. I need a kit for 2 seats.

- New set of car keys
100$ ?

Must get from dealer and be programmed
Will do.

- foggy headlights after carwash due to bad rubber seal?
How to do? any hints?

Have been covered under warrenty. or Search forum or buy replacements. On Ebay all the time

A warranty, still after 5 years? I would not think so...

- left roof light does not work
probably lamp or circuit

Check light and if needed wiring
Probably just to change the bulb / circuit

- New set of car mats / rubber mats for winter use?
Where to find? Stock OEM ones?

okay, you mean the cicci ?

- Best airfilter for XFIRE N/A?
ITG? K&N?

- Winter ski rack possible for crossfire?
Still trying to find one.. prefferably in white..

You can buy a key to put in your seatbelt buckle thingy and it will stop the beep. I found it on one of the websites that are advertised at the top of this site ^^^^^^

......For twenty bucks?... not!. Just cut one from the back center seat of your wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee. She'll never know.

seat belt- just find the ground wire for the sensor and ground it. It will never beep again as the computer will see it as seat bet on.
There was a how to on it a couple years ago. I'll go look for it.

If you end up with condensation inside the headlights after a wash or driving in the rain, there is a TSB that addresses this problem. You would have to pay for them to fix it but the kit costs $25 and can be installed in 5 minutes with one hand. Ask that they print out the install guide they would use for the tech to follow.

TSB: 13-Jan-05 - 08-002-05 - Lighting - Condensation in Headlamps

I did this install and it took care of the issue immediately. It is 4 large caps and 2 smaller caps installed on the back of the assemblies.

So easy a caveman...etc., etc...

There is a list of TSB's in the "TSBs and How-to articles" forum.

Open the "Forum Jump" drop-down menu at the bottom of any page.

Just copy this info down and carry it into the service department. This will tell them which TSB to look up and take it from there.

Thanks for the kudos! There is a thread called "Painted Engine Covers" or something like that. Some pretty neat ideas to be found...
