spoiler please help!!!
So my spoiler has been out of commission for a few months now. This would not be then end of the world except it is in the up position and becoming quite the nuisance. I have checked all the connections and the fuse and they are fine. The battery has a full charge. Some please help I hope there is just something simple that i have overlooked.....
I have some limited experience of messing with the spoiler. I am sure you tried to lower the wing with the manual switch on the dash? (simple but must ask). Does the switch blink or sound when you go 80 mph or faster? If it does, I would say to check out the "down limit" micro switch or circuit.

I would get to the motor with a volt meter and see if you are getting voltage to it with the key on and working the switch. this should tell you if you have a wiring problem or a bad motor.
Ok, if the 'down limit' switch would be stuck closed, telling the ECU that the wing is down, the ECU would never tell it to go down and you couldn't manuallly put it down. But since you are not getting the warning alarm above 80mph, then the ECU must know the wing is up.
More to think about and post again.

I have not had the dash apart to see if there is a seperate plug on the back of the manual wing switch. By disconnecting the switch, the wing should go down once the car is started if the switch is defective.
The manual switch works very interesting if you look at it close.
PS, also the diagram shows the "limit switches" as one unit. It is not, they are 2 seperate switches.

So I have made some progress the wing now operates as i connected power from the battery after ensuring the motor was good. There is still no manual control at the switch which must mean there us a problem directly with the switch which i will replace and hopefully become problem free.
