Srt6 top speed
speaking as someone who owns a slk32 the top speed will not be 190 mph. possibly 180 but let me inform the unknowing that at speeds of 150+ things happen extremely fast! to fast for someone with your experience to be able to handle. im not ******* you just staing what 40+ yrs and over 2 million miles under my belt have learned. these cars are extremely twitchy. a small bump at 150 can throw these cars clean off the road in a split second.
enjoy the limited. if you get to nashville hollar at me and we can go to the superspeedway and ill show you how fast these cars will go!!

SRT - 0 to 60 = 4.3 sec..... 60 to upside down = .3 seconds.

And to you who say I need to slow down, thank you for your concern, I do hit 100 sometimes but at least I do not street race like most people my age. I am always on back roads when I do speed and usually don't go over 100. To me its not the speed thats as important as the acceleration. I am just wandering about the top speed of the srt vs the n/a, not saying I would hit it. have gone just over 150 in mine but probably wont do that again for a very long time.

Any way you spin that one, it does not come out to a good deal. I bought my SRT 4 months ago, an it is worth the same or slightly more than I paid for it.
perhaps a srt owner would be willing to provide observed speeds at 50, 60, 70 & 80 mph [in top gear].
with this data, [as well as the redline] one can extrapolate the max top end.
adding boost and pulley's do not add to the rpm/final drive ratio as it relates to speed. they merely help to get you there quicker [hopefully]
1000 hp @ 1000 rpm does not equate to 500 hp at 7000 rpm.

I'm pretty sure there is a confirmed speed of 178 in the texas mile in a SRT6.
secondly, i've hit 139 in mine and there was a lot more left...the only thing wasn't there anymore was the ***** to go faster...
as a price reference. i paid 19k out the door for my N/A 2007 base coupe 34miles on the ODO... I wasa very happy with that as it was almost two years ago that I purchased that. I bought my SRT less than a year ago with 19k on the ODO and paid 16.5k out the door... for a car that was roughly 40% more expensive based on MSRP.
