Default Spoiler Deployment

When does your spoiler deploy? 57 mph or 62 mph? I was reading on the DC tech site that the deployment was raised to 62 mph and the owners manual wasn't corrected.Mine goes up at 57 mph.Maybe they made the change on the later models.

It's definitely above 60. Can't say for sure it is 62 but it's close. Thought it was defective and was planning on a visit to the dealer but decided to take it on the interstate to see if it worked at all. It did ...just not at what was specified in the manual.

Mine starts deploying @ right around 57, but isn't fully deployed until well after 60. Widow switches work backward.

62 or 63 - #8382
Also, my window switches are 'correct'. Down = Down, Up = Up.

Same here; 62 and the window switches work the way I'd normally expect them to.

According to Engineers, there is no definate speed for spoiler deployment. The BCM deploys it when it sees fit, and we were warned to be vauge and say "around 60 mph" to avoid unnecessary customer concern. (But all of ours deploy as 62. )

It is funny you said that. Quite often when I pass a cop going the opposite direction, I glance back to see if the spoiler is up. Of course if I'm in a 45mph zone, you are usually allowed 10+ but not much more. If the spoiler is down, I know I have nothing to worry about
