My first car wreck (not in the Crossfire)
Well I am 16 years old, and have never had a wreck. I was in my mom's BMW and was pulling out from a stop sign at a turn and there was a black car very far back down the road. I pulled out and before I knew it he was pulling up fast behind me. I step on it to turn and the car slides into a hugh rain drain that was high above the road. The side airbags came out, and the front is a little messed up, and the rim is cracked. It still started fine, but it was towed anyway. I am so sad now, its my first wreck, I'm just glad I was not in my Crossfire.

Stranger things have happened, i'm sure!
there is just something wrong with, I'm 16 and have never had a wreck....not sure how to put my finger on it...maybe it's like saying I have been driving for a year now, and have never had wreck. Well, just glad you didn't get hurt, cars can be replaced...your kids can't, so I am sure your parents are feeling the same....its scarey everytime your first time driver leaves the house. My sons are in there early 20's now, and I still worry about them

I have been in 2 accidents where I was driving and 3 where i was not driving and im only 19. 1. My first was with my stepfather and we slid on ice and hit a car. 2. My second was with my sister who was tailgating a jeep while taking a left hand turn i was asleep and woke up to a big blue dodge ram in my face. 3. My third was with my father who was side swiped by a drunk driver. 4. Then I thought it would be fun to try to drift my crossfire and it ended up in a ditch. 5. Finally with my old caddy I was rear ended the second day I had it by a drunk driver. Now I am in my srt and drive like the car is made with toothpicks and marshmellows. Even if you were not screwing around or if its not your fault you will learn from them.
What I learned
1. No matter how fast you are going you can still slide with ice.
2. Don't tailgate
3. Watch out for dumb *** people.
4. Dont drive to impress.
5. Leave more room between your car and the car infront of you so if you get hit you dont hit the car infront of you.
It was one of the only times I have cried as a teen when I lost my first car hopefully you dont have to feel what its like.

It really pisses me off when I hear stories like this, like trying to drift your crossfire and crashing or panicking because a car is coming fast behind you and crashing. They don't make crossfires anymore if you didn't notice so if you crash one you don't deserve to have one. Let me ask you, who bought your crossfire for you? I'm making payments on mine and have full insurance but still I wouldn't even consider drifting it. Even if you don't crash you'll eat up your tires which are $200, if you had to foot the bill for the rubbers then you would think like I do. If you wanna drift go buy a P.O.S. and take someone who knows what they are doing. I don't know about where you guys are but here crossfires are starting to get known as being dumb *** kid's cars or ricers.
