Oklahoma Blizzard '09
OMG I feel for you guys. On the 24th in the middle of a shopping frenzy, I arrived home and noticed a flat tire on my Jeep. Eased the Crossfire from her sleep in the garage to finish my errands and then put her back in. No snow and above freezing temperatures.
On the 26th, I ventured out and scraped more than a quarter inch of ice off the Jeep to change the tire.
Now I am fretting that the crossfire is sitting in the garage without a car wash! I am waiting for the next thaw.
The pictures are pretty though guys...the snow looks so pristine!
Sorry for your grief. Seems Ottawa, Ontario has been lucky so far....

I just took these today. Much of the snow and ice has melted, but my bald tires got me pretty stuck in my work's parking lot yesterday. That called for desperate measures. 400+ lbs of weight in the back really helps... (not so sure how good it is on the rear shocks!
She's squatting pretty good.)
My Crossfire is my daily driver and I take great care of her, but when the weather gets bad, she still gets driven!
Once all this misery thaws out and disappears it is time for a good clay bar treatment, waxing, and some new tires.
These pictures may make some of you all cringe! My camera phone could not capture just how dirty the car really is.

I didn't back into the garage....I came out of the driveway - took a left up a hill & couldn't make it ...so I backed back down ...just past the driveway & got it back in the garage going forward.

Blizzard hit here too. The XF is/was resting nicely indoors, nearly perfectly clean and snow-/ice-/dirt-/salt-free!
4x4 pickup having no problem at all with the snow and drifts. Only with painfully slow drivers in little cars getting stuck in front of it.
Heavy batteries in the hatchback: underneath the floor cover is styrofoam. Is there significant support structure under it?
