Clicks, but won't turn over.
Black and proud. 12.37 is low. Typically you want to be closer to 13.2 volts. All my solar charged batteries ( 200 amphours) are floated at 13 and higher depending on the temperature.

[quote=tighed1]Ain't this just like BLACK Crossfire owners to just Hijack a thread to try and stroke themselves into feeling good about owning BLACK Crossfires!
You guys keep strokin'. Eventually you may get a good feeling!
Excuse me, #1 it was all you jealous guys who dont own black crossfires that started to hijack original post. And #2 how the heck is a guy my age,(71), gonna be able to stroke anything, except the gear shift lever on my six speed limited

I pulled the battery out, and noticed some corrosion on the negative terminal. I charged her up for an hour and that got her back to 12.57 volts; cleaned up the corrosion, sanded the bottom and inside of the negative terminal connector, reinstalled the battery and started her up. She turned over without any hesitation. It was a beautiful sound, even if it was coming from a black crossfire.
Sorry, I doubted the starter. The battery, I noticed, is almost four years old, so I'll keep an eye on that.
Thanks again. A guy my age should've done all that before I bothered you guys. What a short sweet solution.

My #2 post covered terminal corrosion, so stick with the guys with black Crossfires and you'll do OK.
My 04 Limited coupe may have its original battery, but it starts even at 10 degrees. Clicking usually means it's time for a new battery.
Oh, I was at the carwash today and another guy was standing near me as my WHITE crossfire came through. He says to me, "I really like your crossfire; and I think that white is the BEST color for that car! End of discussion.
