Well at my high school there were 2 crossfire's, mine and a black convertible. The owner of the convertible was texting while driving 85 yesterday and ran off the road. He is ok but the car is smashed, it looks bad! Just glad it didnt happen to me

 

At least youre the only one who has one now! Glad he's ok, but I never like hearing about a smashed XF. Texting while driving is A BAD IDEA. period. I dont understand why people still do it.

I never text and drive, if their is a reason i need to look at my phone and it can't wait until i get where i'm going, i pull over.

 

Fools like that will eventually get the phones pulled from responsible drivers as well. That way we are all safe.

There will, of course, be a tax levied to pay for enforcement of the law.

I always say, danger is Mother nature's way of getting stupid people out of the gene pool.

Thank your friend for his stupidity I am glad he is OK, but just hope he doesn't reproduce.

Why are they still texting? What is the matter with people that they ever started texting while driving? There are so many driving and doing any number of other things at the same time, it really makes me wonder why there aren't more accidents than there are. Seems to me there are a lot who can't do one thing correctly, much less 2 or 3 at a time. I have decided that if I have to use the phone, I will stop, then continue when done, but then I'm old and not in quite the hurry as most.

 

Well I just texted him about his next car, he's looking for a 350z, said the crossfire wasn't fast enough.

I find people dialing the phone or texting more dangerous than the drunks! Well not really but a close second. I hate it that laws have to be written to impose common sense on the populace. Oh well, I drive safe. No texting and no phone conversations. I hope your friend learned from the wreck. What a lousy way to learn. Oh, is a 350z faster than a Crossfire?

I would think it would be close. My SRT-6 is much faster than most 350z's, and faster than some supercharged 350z's so I figured a 6 speed would be a close match for a stock 350z. But I really don't know so I'll take your word on it. So, is your friend going to text in his 350z? Try to talk him out of doing things like that. He could die a virgin!

Why do people text, ........cause they are stupid.

Darwin has it right .....survival of the fittest. Dont think people are stupid, get in a car and watch them.

Only pity is that they take others with them too often.

We should have proficiency tests, like daylight or night. Weekdays, and weekends, passengers or not.

THere are too many and we need to thin the herd, like deer. They dont all need to survive, reproduce etc. Only the government prospers with a bigger head count.

Take my word for it? I have only taken other peoples word for it I've never raced one though I would like to. If that's what he ends up getting I'll get a chance but not many people around here have 350zs they all have m3's.
