the sides are mystic chrome which i love but they turned the car into a clown car with other touch ups. IMO, they should have painted the whole car to mystic chrome. And for god's sake somebody lose the Joey girl tag. That is gayer than a bag of pee pees.

 

Had to show me that car. Now I've gotta clean this mess off my keyboard. That looks like the color and paint used from the factory on late 90's Mustangs. It was an option that changed the cars colors from purples to greens depending upon the light. Liked it a whole lot more on the Mustangs. Just doesn't fit the image of what the Crossfire is to me but with the prices these cars have been going for they're appealing to a whole new group of buyers now.

I have to agree.... That paint job turned out to be a BAD idea.

Oh, .... and NEVER name a girl JOEY.

and NEVER EVER paint your name on the rear spoiler (in French Italic or anything else).

 

That color shifting paint is also rather "dated" looking. Like it on the flames but not as a paint job. Like I said earlier, this car is almost impossible to two tone. Please tell me that this person didn't name the car Joey. How the hell do you tell what sex your car is any way?

 

A gal from my old 2 gen eclipse days told of how she started her car one morning and drove off to have a splash of water from her open sunroof squirt her right down her cleavage. Said she knew her car was a male.

 

I did the shaker hood scoop on my Dakota truck in prizm paint and it acts like a compass. When driving south it is gold, east or west its magenta and north it is blue/aqua in the sun light. How it shifts color that is reflected is still a mystery to me???
Different and fun, but costly, like $6000 per gallon ( applied), but too intense for most vehicles, better as a modest accent color.

the JOEY GIRL thing was added because that was the nickname of the girl that owned it and she was in the army. Something like that, it was stated on the listing. Either way, I think it's weird to put your nickname on your car.
