If I have to use a car wash, I use the coin operated one (especially in winter or when I'm on the road). I always dry it by hand using clean microfiber towels. My baby needs a good wash (dust) and an engine bay cleaning, but that will have to wait. We are expecting a foot of snow tomorrow.

And, the XF doesn't complain when I puff a stogie and drink a beer while washing and drying her. Perfect.
Hand wash your wife, that's more fun than washing cars, anyway the sponge is much to harsh for the cars. Here is a tip, do not smoke and drink when washing the wife, no wonder she said hands off. How do you keep the stogie dry anyway?

If memory serves me correctly, he didn't keep the stogie dry.
