Question Sprint Booster

I have installed a Sprint Booster on my 2005 NA Coupe. My question is do I now still need to reset the throttle back to factory condition every few weeks? Does having the sprint booster take care of this?
Thanks

still need to do throttle resets....sprint booster just changes the voltage to the throttle control...opens it up faster....without a delay...

Throttle resets are a little like oil changes. For best performance you ought to do them.

Doc's right. You should do them regularly. However I find that I don't do them that often because the SB makes the car respond so much better to you inputs. Do it at least once a month or just before you want to drive aggressively.

Thinking of getting a Sprint Booster. How do you feel about this as an add on? How do you do a throttle reset? Are throttle resets normally need without a Sprint Booster? Ron

Ron, they are an expensive little dude, that just changes the voltage to the throttle making it open up, or respond quicker, getting rid of the little lag in the throttle. Some people....for the money...just get use to the lag.....others like the quick throttle response. A throttle reset just clears the 'puter of its memory, or your driving habits. So, yes, a throttle reset will help you when you want to drive a little more agressive, but even then, you have to do some agressive driving for it to improve...once it realizes you want WOT all the time, it will give it to you, but the little bit of lag will remain...for $350, most people choose to live with the lag...lol

Thanks that was helpful. Maybe I'll just deal with it. I will try a throttle reset some day.
